Deciding to get an abortion was one of the hardest, most heartbreaking, traumatizing decisions that I have ever had to make. I was trying to get out of an abusive relationship and just wasn’t ready to raise a child on my own. I will never forget how the protesters gathered around the clinic and covered the entrance to the parking lot in the dismembered parts of baby dolls (painted to look bloody). I still don’t know if what I did was the right thing.
