The father lived with me (also a graduate student) and we both decided an abortion would be the best decision. I was 4 weeks pregnant when I knew, and 6 weeks pregnant when they could confirm the pregnancy and perform the abortion.

We are still together, happily engaged. We talk a lot about our future and the children we plan on having. I have never regretted my abortion.
It is important that those in lower incomes have access to abortion, but let it be known that women in all social and economical statures chose abortion for their personal reasons. It is incredibly important that abortion remains accessible to all women.
