Six years ago I discovered I was pregnant whilst in an abusive relationship. I opted for an abortion. The idea that my life would be tied to the fathers filled me with fear.

I was 19 and in my first year of college. Making friends was hard so I got a serving job to stay busy, pay the bills, and hopefully make some friends. He told me he was 26 (he was 30).

I have had two abortions, both traumatic, both for very different reasons.
