Nikki

I was 21 when I became pregnant with my third child, fathered by my alcoholic, physically, mentally, and emotionally abusive husband. Early in the pregnancy, after he was arrested for hitting me, I finally found the strength, and courage to leave him, and file for divorce.

I grew up in a home surrounded by mental illness. I knew I didn't have the skills or the gene pool for parenthood, but I got married to a manipulative man and we got pregnant twice.

Madeline

I was seventeen when I found out I was pregnant to a boy (also seventeen) who I had been dating for a little over a month. I barely graduated highschool, and had serious depression, anxiety, bulimia.

I was 20 years old. I had been in a relationship with this guy for 3 years. I thought we were going to be together forever, but right after our anniversary, everything went downhill.

I was 21 in early 1988 and recently separated from a mentally-abusive husband, whom I had foolishly married at 18 to get out of my alcoholic and abusive parent's house (frying pan, meet fire).

Clara

I was only 19 when I was manipulated into placing my first child for adoption. I faced being homeless or staying with my boyfriend, an older man who regularly beat and raped me.
