I very unexpected became pregnant when I was 28. I had a good well paid full time job and my own home as did my partner. My mother had put a lot of pressure on me for a grandchild, that made this decision so much harder. I never told my mother. This was the right decision for my partner and I at the time. It wasn’t that we couldn’t do it but the timing wasn’t right. I still think about it a lot. I am so blessed I had the resources and could make that decision. No woman makes this choice lightly.
