Despite the fact that I am an educated, middle class woman, I have had 2 abortions. I don’t have a “good excuse”, just inconsistent birth control because of infrequent relationships, and poor timing. I do not regret my decisions at all. I was grateful to have had the choice.

I have since had 3 children who are all grown. One of my daughters had a child at 18 and wasn’t married. She contemplated abortion, but decided to go forward and keep the baby. I supported her in whatever decision she wanted. I have crazy grandma-love for my now 5 year old granddaughter. Does she make me regret my own decisions so many years ago? Not for a second.
