I knew I wanted children in the future, but not at that time, with that man. The OBGYN I was going to said she was against abortion and would not give me any information on where to obtain one, so I found the clinic on my own. I have always been incredibly grateful to have made that decision. In 1977 the chances of me getting the job that moved me into a lifetime career only a month after the abortion would have been zero if I had been a single pregnant woman. Because of that job I have always been able to support myself and raise two beautiful boys. I now have seven grandchildren, and have never once doubted the decision I made.
