I was 27, engaged, about to graduate law school, and suddenly pregnant. I did want to be a mom — but in five years or so. The actual abortion was quick, easy and a relief, and the hardest part was all the absurd legal hoops Ohio makes women go through for a simple and safe process. I’ve never once regretted it.
