Advocates for Youth welcomes the Supreme Court decision to overturn Louisiana’s restrictive abortion law, one identical to the law overturned by the court in 2016.  Young people are not going to let anti-abortion extremists continue to control abortion access in this country.  Youth already face too many barriers to abortion care, and this clinic shutdown law is making things even worse.  We need to keep working to expand abortion access, not threaten it. We were proud to stand with young people from Louisiana on the steps of the Supreme Court to protest this law, and we’ll keep working until every young person has access to the abortion care they need.  Congratulations to the youth activists, legal experts, and abortion care providers who worked to help overturn this law!
