This module identifies limitations of the “Abstinence-Only” and “Sex-as-Risk-Taking” paradigms and describes an alternative approach to adolescent sexuality, the ABCD paradigm. Participants discuss practical applications of this approach in working with adolescents, parents, and health professionals.
