I was 29 years old, in an abusive relationship and using drugs to cope, far away from my friends and family and found out I was pregnant in my second trimester.

I had an abortion by a second rate doctor who didn’t make the process any easier by his harsh words and awful cold and dingy office. While I am not ashamed at all at having the abortion I wish I could be more vocal about it so all women who feel they have to go thru it alone or in silence know that they are not alone and in fact, very brave. And you can go on to find the partner of your dreams, live the life you were meant to lead while building the family you want.
