Tremayne Jackson (Trey) currently serves as Senior Executive of Operations at Advocates for Youth where he provides leadership and oversight over the Operations Team which includes Finance, People Operations/HR, and IT. Trey brings a decade’s worth of operations related experience spread across different industries. Majority of that experience has been dedicated to nonprofits after most recently serving as Senior Director, Finance & Operations for a fellow nonprofit and Chief Operating/Finance Officer for its’ for-profit subsidiary.
Trey has a deep passion for and commitment to nonprofit operational excellence. He has specialized interest in both future-proofing and innovating nonprofit operations. He strives to empower the people of the organization he serves through the use of technology, nonprofit operational/business literacy, streamlining processes/systems, and executing operations through a strategic and DEIJ lens.
Trey brings a diverse educational background to AFY. He earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Accountancy as well as a graduate certificate in Forensic Accounting from Kansas Wesleyan University and American University respectfully. In addition, he also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. He continues to pursue advanced educational opportunities as well as expand his professional knowledge as a member of SHRM and AICPA.
