Marandah Field-Elliot has worked in youth abortion access for the past three years. As Co-Director of Students United for Reproductive Justice at UC Berkeley, Marandah helped found the initiative to bring medication abortion to their student health center. That initiative became part of a wider statewide legislative effort that continues in California, in which Marandah eventually worked as a full-time organizer for the JustCARE Campaign through the Women’s Foundation of California. This student-built campaign pushed the bill all the way to the Governor’s desk. Most recently, Marandah was a John Gardner Fellow at the Center for Reproductive Rights where she supported the federal policy team. She has a background in student organizing, policy advocacy, and the arts,  and is passionate about building creative, youth-led campaigns to achieve progressive policy goals.
