Cynthia Chinchilla Angel is the AMAZE International Associate Director for Latin America and the Caribbean at Advocates for Youth. Cynthia focuses on cultivating and expanding partnerships for AMAZE internationals by supporting collaborations with partner organizations around the world working in the fields of sexual and reproductive health and rights, as well as youth development education. Cynthia also authors the AMAZE Around the World newsletter and manages the AMAZE International Instagram account. Prior to joining Advocates for Youth, Cynthia was a Researcher at TD International, a risk advisory and regulatory compliance firm, where she studied emerging markets to identify regulatory risks for compliance and due diligence investigations. Cynthia is pursuing a master’s degree in Public Policy at the George Washington University (GWU), holds a bachelor’s degree from GWU in International Affairs, and speaks Spanish and French.
