| It's Time to Talk: Public Service Announcements |
Initiating conversations about the facts of life may be difficult for some because they did not grow up in an environment where the subject was discussed. Some parents may be afraid they do not know the right answers or feel confused about the proper amount of information to offer. Some youth are uncomfortable talking about sex with the adults they trust. So, in recognition of Let's Talk Month, celebrated each October, Advocates for Youth created two public service announcements (PSAs) to get people talking. Disclaimer: No adults, children, or animals were harmed during the filming of these PSAs. In addition, no one was subjected to obscene materials. The “television” is merely a flickering blue light and the audio was added during post-production. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead is purely coincidental. Void where prohibited. Some assembly required. Batteries not included… blah, blah, blah… Late NightDim lights Embed Embed this video on your site Trivia

Thank you, Advocates for Youth, for allowing us to express ourselves. As an upcoming filmmaker, I've decided to dedicate my life to doing more than just making films. My main career goal is to bring truth to entertainment even if that means focusing on controversial issues. I know that it won't be easy going against the odds but I'm willing to take that chance. If we as young people don't do it, then who will? Pablo Zalles, Executive Producer, Writer, Director of Photography, and Editor |
