What is the YWOC Leadership Council?
This module discusses the relationship between culture, social inequities, and health in the context of adolescent health. Participants explore how bias, discrimination, and structural oppression intersect with and impact patient-centered care. The presentation introduces cultural humility as a tool to minimize provider bias and addresses the importance of systems-level policy and practice change.
