The Busybodies Club HQ includes easy-to-understand, bite-sized knowledge to DEBUNK myths around sex education, reproductive health, LGBTQIA+ rights, abortion access, HIV Awareness, and racial justice. Whether you’re a novice or nearly a sexpert, we wanna challenge what you know about sex ed and share this library of resources with those who need them most.
We just wrapped up Module 1:
Birth Control
ICYMI- we dropped a series of PDFs and social posts tackling birth control misinformation, common myths, Plan B vs Medication Abortion, and tips to spot red flags on your timeline. We hosted two virtual events: “Opill 101,” and “Feed to FYP, ” focusing on birth control misinformation. Our guest speakers included #FreeThePill youth council member Sriha, Dr. Lin-Fan Wang, and health researchers Cambray Smith and Brooke Whitfield, who all provided all the expertise during these discussions.
Youth activists hit the streets with these cute holographic stickers with a QR code to busybodies HQ. The #FreeThePill council also led a mass wheatpasting action, sparking conversations on who really benefits from the birth control misinformation on your timeline. (spoiler alert: it’s the latest tactic from the folks trying to limit reproductive access)
Module 2: Abortion Access Is Here!
Check out some new resources below and stay tuned to see what the busybodies get up to in this module👀
