Laura Davis is Director of Adolescent Sexual Health Services Division at Advocates for Youth. Laura has more than forty years of program planning, project coordination, teaching, training, and organizational development in the field of reproductive and sexual health. She has managed an adolescent family planning clinic, directed four multi-year cooperative agreements with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and/or the U.S. Office of Adolescent Health, and conducted trainings for youth, sexuality educators, health providers, and youth service workers in over 35 states. She is the co-author of Communities Responding to the Challenge of Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (Advocates for Youth, 1998); Protection as Prevention: Contraception for Sexually Active Teens, (National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, 2000), Engaging the Pharmacy Community in Teen Pregnancy Prevention Efforts (with CDC, 2012), Healthcare Provider Partnerships to Address Refugee & Immigrants’ Sexual & Reproductive Health Needs (with CAI and the International Rescue Committee, 2020), and Developing an Effective Youth Leadership Team: A Guide for Health Centers and Youth Serving Agencies (Advocates for Youth, 2024).
