The President’s actions not only discriminate against thousands of trans service members and veterans who have served our country with courage and conviction, but they further stigmatize transgender youth in a world that already holds great dangers for them. Trans young people are not a threat to the military or to our health care system. They are vital members of our communities who should find acceptance and safety at home, at school, and in the workplace, whatever workplace that may be. Attacking trans service members is one of the more craven actions by a President notorious for his low moral character.
