In response to the Arizona Supreme Court ruling that an 1864 law bans abortion in the state, Debra Hauser, President of Advocates for Youth, issued the following statement:

“Generation Z continues to wonder what century they’re living in. Young people are disgusted, but they are not dejected. They are energized and ready to get abortion access on the ballot and turn out in huge numbers to see it succeed. If policymakers won’t deliver on the abortion access we all deserve, young people will organize to do it themselves.”
