I had two abortions, roughly nine months apart.

Our lives are created by the choices we make and those that are made for us.

I was a young woman in my twenties in a complicated relationship, when I found that I was pregnant.

Had a child at 18. Another at 25.

My late-term abortion saved our daughter’s life.

In 1983, I was living in Texas and was raped by a man who was the friend of my boss.

Before I tell you about my abortion experience I want to tell you about my mother’s.

I had just turned 20 years old and could barely support myself financially at the time.
