Our Youth-Adult Partnership Model
Advocates’ youth-adult partnership framework empowers young people and adults to work in full partnership envisioning, developing, implementing, and evaluating programs and/or policies that impact young people.
For Educators and Other Youth Serving Professionals
For decades, Advocates for Youth has worked to ensure that in classrooms, healthcare facilities and community based agencies across the country, all youth are safe, welcomed, and celebrated for who they are – and that they find representation in policies, programs, and program materials. Visit our menu of capacity-building professional development opportunities and resources to support youth-serving adults.
Policy and Advocacy
In partnership with young people, Advocates for Youth champions policies that expand and improve young people’s reproductive and sexual health and rights on Capitol Hill, within the Administration and federal agencies, within state legislatures and local municipalities, in coalitions, and with colleague organizations.
Alumni Network
Advocates has worked with youth activists for over 25 years. Our alumni power the movement for reproductive and sexual health and rights, and include health care providers, activists, legislators, educators, and much more.

AMAZE.org
AMAZE is a collection of fun, animated videos that provide young people medically accurate, age-appropriate, affirming answers to their questions about puberty, sex, their bodies, and healthy relationships. Parents, educators, health care professionals, and community leaders also use AMAZE videos to communicate effectively and honestly about sex and sexuality with the young people in their lives.

In high school, I saw gaps in what we learned about menstrual health. I worked with a legislator to propose a bill to make sure everyone gets this information, and then I mobilized young people across the state to support it. The bill passed, and now, every student in California will get the information they need about menstrual health. I couldn’t have done all this without the support of Advocates for Youth.
