Today, the House voted to pass H.J.Res.165, which aims to undo the U.S. Department of Education’s recently published final rule strengthening Title IX protections against sex-based discrimination in federally-funded schools.

Everyone experiencing a health crisis should have access to life-saving health care, without political interference – including pregnant people who need an abortion. Today, the Supreme Court has refused to cede to the anti-abortion extremists who are willing to endanger the lives of pregnant people, even in dangerous medical emergencies. 

The Supreme Court made the right decision today, rejecting anti-abortion extremists’ attempt to exploit the judicial system to bring a case with no merit before the Court. Medication abortion is safe, effective, and has been safely used by millions of people over the course of decades.
