I was 16 years old and I was in love with my boyfriend of 2 years. We both were in high school leaving junior year and going to be seniors. We both had the same birthday and on our birthday, which was also our 2 year anniversary, we were intimate with each other for the first time. Everything was great until a couple of weeks later; I came home from school throwing up and dizzy. I wasn’t on Birth control because I had been a virgin before and didn’t think about it. I thought it was a flu going around but after 2 weeks of feeling sick, I realized that I was about 5 days late on my period. The same night, my boyfriend picked me up and we went to the next town over and bought 4 pregnancy tests. I took all 4 and 3 came back positive. The next day I went into Planned Parenthood, and everyone there was kind and helpful. They assured me that my decision was right. Looking back, I’m okay with the choice I made because otherwise, I wouldn’t be happily married to my high school sweetheart with 2 beautiful children.
