At 16 in 1968 I was forced to have an illegal abortion my step father didn’t want the embarrassment of an unwed pregnant daughter. The pain was indescribable i had to stuff the sheets in my mouth to stiffle the screams and the doctor molested me before the procedure…then i had to listen as he flushed it down the toilet…I was not given a choice I was not allowed to own my own body…every woman on the planet has the right to choose to give birth or not. I have been pro choice ever since… its a womens human civil right.
