I had an abortion in either my late 20’s or very early 30’s. It was a case of birth control failure, or maybe just a very active sex life.

In all honesty I was not sure of parenthood, it could have been either of two men I was involved with. It was a time of hard partying and a lot of substance use. Absolutely no regrets about having the abortion. It was the correct action at the time. Being a parent is a serious decision, and we should all be prepared and willing to put the energy into raising a child/ren well. I went on to have one child. My daughter is my greatest gift to myself and to this planet. When I decided to have a child, my life was stable and I was ready truly prepared emotionally, physically, financially, spiritually and intellectually to raise a child.
