I was 18. Despite the “usual” rhetoric (which I think sometimes is more rhetoric than fact) it wasn’t a hard decision, it wasn’t a life-changing decision. I did not fret it, or regret it. It was right for me. it was a blessing.

I was in college and because I could have an abortion, I was able to stay in college, get a good job, pay taxes to society, and should I have kids, be able to give them a good life. None of that would have been possible had I been 18 and a single mother.
