I’m 16 years old and a junior in high school, my boyfriend is 18 and out of school.

I was on birth control but it ran out and I didn’t use condoms or anything to prevent pregnancy. A month later I found out I was pregnant. I had always said I would get an abortion if it came down to it, but it was hard – a part of me wanted to keep it but I wasn’t ready. I’m glad I came to the hard, mature, brave decision I came to. Women should have a choice, if we’re not ready to be mothers or too young like in my case, we should have the choice to wait. No regrets. Look forward to the future.
