Advocates for Youth, with a very heavy heart, stands strongly in support of our LGBTQIA+ communities across the country and around the world. We send love and support to the city of Colorado Springs in the wake of the shooting at Club Q.
“Young people vote, and young people are fighting for abortion access, LGBTQ rights, and liberation for everyone,” said Debra Hauser, President, Advocates for Youth. “Young people will never let basic humanity disappear in this country. We are mourning the recent murders of two members of the LGBTQI+ community at the LGBT+ bar, Tepláreň, in Slovakia’s capital of Bratislava. Advocates for Youth stands in solidarity with the brave young people fighting for LGBTQI+ rights and acceptance while protesting against these violent hate crimes.
