End Censorship in America's Schools

Comprehensive sex education—education that includes information about both abstinence and contraception—is under attack. In its place is a federal policy funding abstinence-only-until-marriage programs—programs that censor information about contraception and condoms.

Think this is wrong?! Then make your voice heard! Join other youth activists in the Keep it REAL Campaign, as they raise their voices about the need for honest sex education in communities in the U.S. and abroad. Here's how to get started:

• Step 1: Join up with other youth activists through the Youth Activist Network.
• Step 2: Download the campaign toolkit.
• Step 3: Learn more about the politics of sex education in the Questions & Answers.
• Step 4: Sign the petition urging the President and Congress to stop supporting abstinence-only-until-marriage programs and to support responsible sex education.
• Step 5: View Advocates' electronic public service announcement (ePSA) and send it on to your friends so they can sign the petition.
• Step 6: Send e-mails to your Senators and Congressional Representative and President Bush urging them to support comprehensive sex ed.
