Youth of Color Print

In the United States, rates of HIV, sexually transmitted infection (STI), and unintended pregnancy are disproportionately high among youth of color, particularly young African American and Latina women, when compared to other youth.  Cultural factors including poverty, unemployment, and discrimination contribute to these disparities.
