Advocates partners with Planned Parenthood of South Florida and the Treasure Coast and created the Broward County Youth Council through the Cultural Advocacy and Mobilization Initiative. Planned Parenthood of South Florida and the Treasure Coast’s mission is to ensure broad, public access to quality reproductive healthcare through direct service, education, and advocacy. Their efforts focus on medical services, educational programs, community outreach, and public affairs. The goal of this initiative is to help the Broward County School District to develop and implement a sex education course in public schools.
