I joined the Youth Activist Network because it’s a Program, which Perth Amboy really needs at the moment  - and not just Perth Amboy, but everywhere. There is an epidemic of teen pregnancy and HIV/STIs among young people.  This program gave us an opportunity to start doing something to protect young people, and I wanted to be a part of that.  I know how it feels not to have the information you need about sexual health  - I wish I had had a group like ours to go to for information.  The YAN is an amazing group and I am proud to be in it.
