Delance Print

Past experiences have taught me that not everyone is thoroughly informed about sex and not everyone is confident in talking about the issue. I would like to spread the word about safer sex and be the listening ear for those who need to express their questions and concerns on the matter.

Delance is a member of the campus organizing team.

I was first introduced to the peer education group on my campus as I was searching for community hours required for pledges. As I found out more information about the group and what it stood for I became more motivated to participate. I was thrilled to learn about a conference in Washington D.C. where I could meet other students who share the same drive as I do when it comes to informing our peers and other youth about sexual health.

I am passionate about educating the youth of the future on the dangers of unprotected sex and helping them to understand their sexual rights. Past experiences have taught me that not everyone is thoroughly informed about sex and not everyone is confident in talking about the issue. I would like to spread the word about safer sex and be the listening ear for those who need to express their questions and concerns on the matter.

I believe it is very important that we educate our youth on the dangers of unprotected sex and encourage them to lead healthy lifestyles.
