Kimber Print

I would like for our generation as well as future generations to be informed about sexual health issues, HIV/AIDS prevention and teen pregnancy prevention.  It is my goal to inform young people about these forces that are harming our community, because knowing more will allow us to make better choices.

Kimber is in eighth grade and is an online peer educator with MySistahs.

I became involved in youth sexual health and rights movement through my local church, which continues to address women and teen health issues in our community.  HIV/AIDS, STD and prevention programs are some programs provided to our community.  These programs always provide information for our teens and young adults, and have inspired me to be a voice to my peers both male and female in the community and obtain information and knowledge for myself and peers alike.

I would like for our generation as well as future generations to be informed about sexual health issues, HIV/AIDS prevention and teen pregnancy prevention.  It is my goal to inform young people about these forces that are harming our community, because knowing more will allow us to make better choices.  It is important for young people to advocate for sexual health and rights to lower the teenage pregnancy rate,  reduce sexually transmitted diseases and enhance our moral values.
