I believe that I have a responsibility to build upon what past generations have already done to improve health, and I believe that young people have the power reach new milestones in sexual health education and health care.

Sarah works with Advocates for Youth and Tell Them as a State Activist in South Carolina.

Equipping young people with health information and empowering them to make good decisions for themselves are two things that we need to continue to work towards. I became an advocate for youth sexual health because I think strong voices in my generation will create a better America. I want to help create a reality where more young Americans are given comprehensive sexual education and are provided with the resources they need to make healthy decisions.

Besides my desire to improve sexual health education in schools, I am a voice that advocates for the promotion of family planning. Improving access to contraceptives and providing options to young women and men is important to me. I believe that I have a responsibility to build upon what past generations have already done to improve health, and I believe that young people have the power reach new milestones in sexual health education and health care.
