Oscar, 16, works with Advocates for Youth and the Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Campaign of North Carolina (APPCNC) as a member of the North Carolina Teen Health Now Council.

I am one of the newest members of the North Carolina Teen Health Now Council. I can't wait to start this new experience and get more involved in activism in the youth sexual health and rights movement. The reason why this work motivates me is because I know that this program helps so many people out there to improve the lives of teens and it spreads knowledge, one of the key elements of life.
