JamesI am 25 years old undergraduate studying Mechanical Engineering at Federal polytechnic Nasarawa (Higher National diploma). I have a vision and aspiration to see that youths living around me and beyond get adequate information regarding their sexual and reproductive health. I joined the Movement Against the Spread of HIV/AIDS known as (MASA) in my locality which is a platform that educate, sensitize and advocate on youth living positively in the community.

The association (MASA) has really help me as an activist to advice other youth who feels it is over with them who are living with this epidemic but to make them believe that with this virus, you can still live a better life and even live longer than those who are not living with the virus. It has been so productive that even the youths in our society have come to believe that stigmatization is not the best way to overcome the virus but to draw those living with the virus closer to us. As a peer educator on my group and I have continued to organize programmes and sensitize our peers on HIV/AIDS issues.

I foreseen a situation were by my fellow youth are living healthy with/ without the virus and erase the issue of stigmatization from their minds and if they cannot hold body they should the ABC acronym, that is A- Abstinence; B- Be faithful; C- the use of Condom. James is an inspirational speaker, hardworking, focused, honest, reliable and determined to fight against HIV/AIDS and reduce stigmatization in our society.
