Sex Education Resources for Advocates Print

Advocates for Youth is honored to support your work in influencing legislators and decision makers at the national, state, and local levels, as well as the general public, to make decisions that support adolescent reproductive and sexual health.

If you have never advocated before, be assured that anyone can be an advocate.  All you have to do is make a persuasive case for your position, whether it be by using skillful persuasion, strategic action, or both.

Advocates can also provide help. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call 202-419-3420 with questions.

Future of Sex Education (FoSE)

The Future of Sex Education Project (FoSE) began in July 2007 when staff from Advocates for Youth, Answer and SIECUS first met to discuss the future of sex education in the United States. In May of 2008, Advocates, Answer and SIECUS formalized these discussions with funding from the Ford, George Gund and Grove Foundations, and the FoSE Project was launched.

The purpose of the project is: to create a national dialogue about the future of sex education and to promote the institutionalization of comprehensive sexuality education in public schools.
