Advocates for Youth works to educate Members of Congress and the Administration about the impact of U.S. foreign policy on young people's access to reproductive and sexual health information and services in low- and middle-income countries.

The key components of Advocates’ International legislative strategy are to:

• Dismantle the Harmful Abstinence-Until-Marriage Requirements in the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)
• Increase Funding for International Family Planning 
• Prioritize Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights within Global Health Programs
• Eliminate Discriminatory Policies Toward Global LGBT Youth
• Encourage Global Youth Leadership
