Resources for Parents of and Professionals Working with Persons with Intellectual and Developmental

The following is a brief list of resources explaining sexuality and sexual health strategies for working with people who are intellectually or developmentally challenged. These individuals are at a high risk of exploitation and abuse. They may lack the social and cognitive skills to negotiate sexual relationships. They deserve information and access to services to protect their health and safety.
