SHINE Awards
 The Media Project's annual SHINE (Sexual Health IN Entertainment) Awards honor
those in the entertainment industry who do an exemplary job incorporating
accurate and honest portrayals of sexuality into their programming.
The Awards recognize achievement in a variety of categories, including
Comedy Episode, Drama Episode, Youth Program, Entertainment Special,
Informational/Documentary, Daytime Drama, Series Storyline and Scene
Stealer.
For seventeen years, the Media Project has been working with television writers
and producers in an effort to reach out to the youth community, recognizing
television's powerful impact on its audiences. Every year, the Media Project
has been both proud and thankful as it honors the industry's shining moments
with the SHINE Awards.
