GLBTQ Issues
Advocacy and Action around GLBTQ Issues Print

GLBTQ youth face not only discrimination and violence, but homophobic policies that mandate abstinence-only-until-marriage programs even for youth who cannot legally marry. Take action now. Advocate for safety, equal rights, and full information for GLBTQ youth.

Take Action

Abstinence-only programs teach one set of values to all young people regardless of background; while comprehensive sex education includes instruction that is culturally competent and respectful of all young people, including GLBQT people.  Take action to encourage government to fund culturally competent sexuality education.

Tell Congress to Fund Comprehensive Sex Education!

Tell your Senators to support sex education programs that provide young people with accurate and complete information about contraceptives and condoms.

Tell Congress to Eliminate Abstinence-Only Funding

Tell Congress to eliminate all federal funding for failed abstinence-only-until-marriage programs!
