Science-Based Practices in Teen Pregnancy Prevention Print

Relying on Science-Based Approaches  means using evaluation findings, social science research, survey data, and empirical findings to establish effective strategies and to reject ineffective ones. Using science-based approaches simply means relying on that which has been proven to work. Indeed, the public health, social science, and education fields have amassed a remarkable body of evidence about what works in promoting better health outcomes among youth.
