  1. Someone can earn enough money to live on without finishing high school.
  2. It’s right to expect different behavior from males and females just based on their gender.
  3. Carrying a weapon is smart if you live or work in a dangerous place.
  4. Having a baby as a teen is a good way to get proper respect in the family and community.
  5. Raising a child by yourself makes more sense than marrying someone you don’t love.
  6. It’s okay for a guy to cry.
  7. You should only have sex with someone you love.
  8. Having a job you enjoy is more important than making a lot of money.
  9. Waiting to have sexual intercourse until you are an adult is a good idea.
  10. Someone who is infected with HIV should not have sex without telling the partner that he/she has the virus.
  11. Selling drugs to children is a very bad thing to do.
  12. It should be okay for teens to use any drugs they want.
  13. When a man and woman have sex, contraception is the woman’s responsibility.
  14. In the family, financial support is the responsibility of all the adults.
  15. A young woman who keeps condoms in her purse is easy (not virtuous).
  16. A gay or lesbian teen should be able to show affection (like holding hands or kissing) for a same-sex partner.
  17. A man is a man when he’s fathered a child.
  18. Dating someone of a different race or culture is wrong.
  19. A country has the right to protect itself by attacking other countries.
