Youth activists were in the spotlight for their record-breaking participation in the 2008 Presidential Election, and their momentum continues. Youth activists can and do take their health and rights into their own hands, organizing activism efforts, lobbying policy makers, educating their peers, and taking leadership roles in the United States and around the world.
Advocates’ Youth Activist Network is comprised of over 20,000 young people with a commitment to securing honest sexual health information and affordable, confidential sexual health services for all young people, as well as redressing health disparities and ending discrimination.
