Advocates for Youth wrote the book on evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention programs…literally.

After introducing the “science vs. ideology” argument into the national debate on teen pregnancy prevention, Advocates for Youth published the first compendium of evidence-based programs for the field, “Science & Success: Sex Education and Other Programs That Work to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, HIV & Sexuality Transmitted Infections.” Since 2001, “Science & Success” has set the standard for evidence-based programs across the United States and internationally. The series is regularly updated and now includes separate compendia for special populations and/or issues.  

Advocates’ National Support Center for State Teen Pregnancy Prevention Organizations also has several tools and tipsheets to make the Federal teen pregnancy prevention grant process easier.  You can download several of these for free here:
