The Youth Activist Network High School Organizing Team engages high school-aged activists as advocates, and spokespeople to fight for comprehensive sex education in their schools!
The goals of the High School Organizing Team are to:
- Secure comprehensive sex education in their high schools.
- Mobilize other students in activism on sexual health issues.
- Increase community awareness of the importance of comprehensive sex education.
- Educate the media about comprehensive sex education and HIV prevention.

High School Organizers work with Advocates for Youth’s staff to change their high school’s sex education policy and practice to one that supports the teaching of comprehensive sex education.
The Youth Activist Network High School Organizers conducts media outreach, builds local support for comprehensive sex education, and participates in advocacy directed toward local, state and national policy-makers.
